BusinesSuites recognizes team members who solve problems, create solutions and overcome obstacles with what President Lyndon Baines Johnson, father of BusinesSuites’ co-founder Luci Baines Johnson, called a “can do” attitude. Each year, BusinesSuites recognizes exceptional team members with the CAN DO Spirit Award. can do award

When President and Mrs. Johnson left the White House, a small marble paper weight was given to Mrs. Johnson engraved with the words “CAN DO.” This monument sat at the front of her desk for over 35 years, and remains at the LBJ Library and Museum in Austin forever memorializing the “can do” legacy.

With the approval of Luci Baines Johnson and the LBJ Library and Museum, BusinesSuites produced replicas of this paperweight which are the center piece of the annual awards.

BusinesSuites is proud to present Rosanne Crump the CAN DO Spirit Award for her outstanding resourcefulness and commitment to her team and coworkers. One nomination for Rosanne read, “Rosanne is well respected by her peers and has made herself a resource to other Client Service Coordinators and the company as a whole.” Rosanne is client service coordinator at BusinesSuites Arboretum, the company’s northwest Austin executive suite.

The 2010 Center Manager Can Do Spirit Award goes to Heather Younger, of BusinesSuites Westlake, for providing above and beyond customer service to her clients, while contributing to the overall marketing efforts of the company. As one of her nominations read, “Heather embraces more responsibility as a challenge, not a burden.” Heather’s executive office suite is located in the southwest area of Austin, Texas.

BusinesSuites is also honored to present Nancy Brown, Vice President of Development, with the Can Do Spirit Award for her leadership, creativity, support and encouragement to the 50+ team members and 14 locations nationwide. One of her nominations read, “Nancy is always encouraging and supportive. She takes every situation, turns it around and comes up with a win-win solution.” Nancy works with the corporate team in Austin, Texas.

The Center of the Year Award goes to the team at BusinesSuites Westlake, in Austin, Texas. “Heather, Lyndsi and Naomi have been together almost four years. The tenure of the team and their teamwork are a testament to how we get things done at BusinesSuites. A solid team which relies on one another is always greater than the sum of its parts,” said John Jordan, President of BusinesSuites.
